Lumber City Farm Day Festival “A Four-Day Event”

Lumber City, GA -- Looking for more than just a weekend of fun?  If so, then the 8th annual Lumber City Farm Day Festival is perfect for you!  Enjoy four days of fun, food and much more. 

It all begins on Thursday, September 4 with a

Gospel Sing!  The admission for the sing is free.  It takes place on Main Street at 8:00 until…  There will be no arts and crafts booths on this day.

Then enjoy another great night of singing on Friday, September 5 with the Country Fever Band.  The concert will take place on Main Street at 8:00 p.m. until…  The admission will be free for the        concert.  There will also be arts and crafts booths open to the public.  Refreshments will be on sale throughout the show.

On Saturday, September 6, enjoy a whole day of fun beginning at 9:00 a.m. and lasting until Midnight!  Throughout the day there will be arts and craft booths set up for the public, as well as,    children's activities and entertainment. Refreshments will also be available.  Many    special activities will take place.  Breakfast will be served by the Lumber City Women's Club from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.  The price is five dollars per plate.  Graystone Ranch from Hephibah, Georgia will put on arena shows.  The admission is free and times will be announced.  Kris Kelly an American Indian culturalist from Blackshear, Georgia will be on hand.  He will tell stories and put on demonstrations.  The admission is free and show times will be announced.  5K and one-mile races will be held.  The Main Street Parade will be held at 10:00 a.m.  A Magic Show will also take place, show times to be announced.  To end the fun filled day, don't miss the Street Dance at 8:00 until Midnight.  The 280 Cruisers from Cobbtown, Georgia will provide the music.  The admission is free.

The last day of the Festival will be Sunday, September 7.  A Community Church Service will be held.  There will be no arts, crafts or food booths on this day.
