Where Am I?

Rule

By Jimmy L. Hill

The winner of the contest from the last issue is Tony Weaver from Dawsonville, Georgia.  Congratulations Tony!!  He will receive a one-year subscription to Southern Festivals.  Thanks to all of you who sent in entries.  The picture was of a statue located in Poultry Park at Jessie Jewell Parkway and Grove Street in Gainesville, Georgia.  The statue signifies that Gainesville/Hall County is the Chicken Capital of the World.

This issue's contest of  "WHERE AM I" is up for grabs.  The contest will test your ability to remember where certain things are located in Georgia.  Are you willing to give it a try?
The contest works like this… each issue will have a picture of a landmark, famous location, statue, scene or another related item.  Your job, if you decide to accept the assignment, is to answer the question; "Where am I?" and report your answer to Southern Festivals.  You will find the question and picture listed below.

Southern Festivals will draw one winner from all correct entries.  The winner receives a one-year subscription to Southern Festivals newspaper.

The only way to win is to send in your entries now.  You must have your entry postmarked no later than December 5, 2003, or the online form sent by the same date.  Please be as specific as you can possibly be in regards to the location.  An entry form is located below.  We will announce the winner in the January/February 2004 issue of Southern Festivals.  Send your entries to Southern Festivals, 1217 Eagle Ridge Road, Dawsonville, GA  30534  ATT: Where am I?
