Of course, as always, there will be lots of great food. Admission is free. Blue Ridge is located approximately 90 miles north of Atlanta and 90 miles southeast of Chattanooga. The historic downtown area is home to the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, a large selection of antique and specialty stores and distinctive art galleries. The county is noted for its numerous hiking trails connected with the Benton McKaye and Appalachian Trail system, close proximity to whitewater rafting, an abundance of rivers and streams for trout fishing and beautiful Lake Blue Ridge.
