PINE MOUNTAIN, GA -- What do you get when you combine, "a fun day with the family", a visit to a restored 60 acre farm, built in the 1800's, which houses a fully operational grist mill, a covered bridge and over 200 animals, plus great country cook-in???? And, over 150 Antique/Arts & Crafts exhibitors selling their wares????? Why, that one is easy… You get the Butts Mill Farm Country Fair, September 27 & 28, 2003, in beautiful Pine Mountain, GA. Arts & Crafts Exhibitors and Antique Dealers from all over the southeastern USA will be at Butts Mill Farm for visitors to shop for those unique and one of a kind items; or visitors may choose to wade in the creek and sit under the covered bridge, while the children visit the lions, tigers and bears, oh---my!!! "And, Yes, Yes, there is a petting farm for the younger children and a train ride, hay ride and even a pony ride. Mmm - Did I mention the homemade ice cream the Leichty family makes for visitors, and there will be lots of other "Country Cook-in" for visitors to enjoy! Visitors to this years fair, can expect a fun day in the pure country sunshine, great shopping and a great place for the children to really "step back in time" and enjoy the miniature horses, monkeys, sheep, "Silas", the camel, the goats and even a Lion. Other children's entertainment will include, Noah's Ark playground, face painting and "Of Course", the water slide, into the creek. And that is all included FREE with admission, which is Adults - $5.00 and Children 5 and under - FREE. Fair hours are 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Visitors will have a full day of shopping, country eating and a relaxed day in the "Pure Country Sunshine".
