Georgia Mountain Fall Festival

HIAWASSEE, GA  -- Take a walk back into the past, by visiting Hiawassee and enjoying the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival which begins Friday, October 8th and continues thru Sunday, October 17th. The Fall Festival is ten fun filled days of arts and crafts, exhibits, “Ole-Timey” Pioneer Village, country music and more.

Interesting arts and crafts are on display and are open Monday thru Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

During the ten days there will be country music by Fiddlin’ Howard Cunningham and the Georgia Mountain Fair Staff Band, Nashville talent, including Ray Price, the Bellamy Brothers, Gene Watson, Ronnie McDowell, Bill Anderson and some of the best gospel singing. The Official Georgia State Fiddlers Convention will be on Friday, October 15th and Saturday, October 16th.

New this year for the Fall Festival will be a petting zoo. Also, new is Peers Muttville Comix. Johnny Peers presents what many in the show business field hail as the world’s top comedy dog act. There will be three shows daily.
