Chattahoochee Independence Day Celebration

FRANKLIN, GA -- The Heard County Chamber of Commerce is proud to sponsor The Chattahoochee Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, July 5th. The celebration will begin at 4 p. m. with booths featuring good food, good fun, great rides and games for all ages. There will also be a flag retirement ceremony at the Recreation Department at 1:00 p.m. If you have a flag in need of retiring please drop it off at the Chamber office.

AMERICA'S AUSSIE ADVENTURE

DAWSONVILLE, GA -- For the ninth year, Georgians and visitors from around the country can get a taste of Australian wildlife by visiting the Kangaroo Conservation Center, a scenic 87-acre park located one hour north of Atlanta at the foot of the Blue Ridge mountains in Dawsonville.
